History
Mount Nebo Memorial Park and Cemetery, founded 1898 and incorporated 1904 is a Colorado non-profit traditional Jewish cemetery, governed by a volunteer board of trustees, located in Aurora, Colorado which is a suburb of Denver. Level of observance is not a prerequisite in order to be buried at Mount Nebo. It is, however, necessary for the decedent to have been Jewish, either through his or her birth mother or by conversion to Judaism. Preparation of the decedent and burial must adhere to traditional Jewish practice. Mount Nebo Cemetery staff oversee interments in coordination with mortuaries and clergy.
